Does anyone know some good internet sites where I can find an explanation for FFT???

1. Have you seen Ernst Meyer's excellect introductory explanation in the earlier "fft explanation for non math guys" thread in this forum?

2. The Mersenne Prime Mailing list FAQ at http://www.tasam.com/~lrwiman/FAQ-mers points to FFT resources including:

http://www.fftw.org/links.html, the links page at the FFTW ("Fastest Fourier Transform in the West") site, appears to be regularly updated. (Scroll down to the more-than-a-dozen links in the Explanatory Material section.)

and

"Fourier Transform for Signal Processing", http://www.spd.eee.strath.ac.uk/~interact/FFT/, which includes an FFT Tutorial "designed to take you step by step through the process of the Discrete and Fast Fourier Transforms (DFT and FFT)."
