And software thing is another part of same story: now nothing work, I must download patch, or new version , and.....

I am merely trying to convince others not to upgrade. Thankfully I've not used Windows myself for several years

But there is no room to complain. Every new , latest,shiny thing have bug, and ALL of you know that. And you know that Win 10 will become mature OS after SP1. But no, you must have it, right now, today, not tomorrow, no second more then download is finished
So you get it, you enjoy it in latest shiny thing....

It's not the bugs I am bothered by. It is the spying, tracking and logging. But as long as it is shiny then it should be worth it, right?

Well, I am a nostalgic, and quite dedicated to my tools
I was using XP until the necessity forced me out of it, and I stayed on win7 since I started to use it.
From the same reason I skipped things like win95, 2000, Me, etc (going directly from win3.1 to 98, then XP).
It was OK. I have learned few lessons many years ago, like "if it works, don't fix it", or "never experiment on a running system/network", most of it dated from the last century... (remember novel netware networks? hehe)

I went some way towards getting to grips with Windows 3.1 but only really as far as learning how to get a DOS window so that I could just type my familiar DOS commands at the prompt.

Then Linux started to become available...

If you concern about spying and tracking ( since whole Internet talking about that) you will not install Win 10 in first place
But you are not concern about that, but that is great opportunity to write on forum :"Hey , MS know every enter I made"
So in kids life it is called attract attention. How is name in your life?
