What do we plan on loading into Port 1300 in case someone finds the S9 prime? Anything well sieved would suffice. Be sure the sort option for the server has a value of a,l. This will insure S9 gets done first.
Port 1400 is safe from that problem. Last fiddled with by MyDogBuster on 2014-09-12 at 14:37 |

I would suggest another base <=32 with one or two k's remaining, such as S22 or S26 (currently both at 500K with sieves to 1M). The Riesel side seems to be picked over a bit more - I'm seeing a lot of 1Ms with no sieve files available.
I have no idea how well sieved these are as I haven't run any calculations. My guess is that they'll need more work akin to S9. But, I'm game to work on pretty much anything, if someone else has another idea. |

All factors up to P=650T have been removed and all n=2M-3M have been loaded to port 1400.

Pledging to get to 100 "Tests Performed" on Port 1300 - Sierpinski Base 9 n=1.5M-2M.
I have 5 cores AMD X6 1100T, each test looks like it will take ~18 hours. So will take about another 13 days, from now. Rouge has released PRPNet 5.4.0 with new feature: • Add support for generic searches (pfgw only) How much do I have to pledge (on this or Port 1400) to get a port on the NPLB server for Compositorial prime search? http://www.mersenneforum.org/showthread.php?t=20035 I have DHCP with IP change every time I reset my modem, like most people. So my hosting would be difficult. I can do some other menial chore to seal the deal, let me know! PrimeGrid are wanting to phase out PRPNet as it doesn't support double checks. I don't blame them with as much fire power as they have available. Rouge would be happy for someone else to add double checker support to his PRPNet code. While I am here I'd like to plug the Top Gun Challenge on May 13-27 at Factorial Prime Search port: prpnet.primegrid.com:12002 http://www.primegrid.com/forum_threa...rap=true#84796 Yes, TheCount=Roger on Primegrid=Vast on Overclockers Australia !!! http://www.overclockers.com.au/ http://forums.overclockers.com.au/sh....php?t=1066483 Overclockers are mostly Bit Coin obsessed at the moment, so a bit useless, except for me! Cheers, Roger |

In my mind DC was not supported, but that's not what was said at all. Good to vent and then you get the truth thrown back at you. That's part of the reason I love maths and science over other pursuits. |

FYI: I've just upped port 1300's time limit to 5 days (from 3). The specific motivation was that some tests from one of my slower computers were about to expire
because I'd accidentally shut down the clients for a few days...but these tests are getting pretty big, it seems reasonable to have a bit more time.

Added S17 for n=1.5M-2M to port 1300. It will start after S9 is complete.
