Me too, following richs's earlier analysis, but we are in no hurry  |

Yes but there is no point in waiting 7 days for the sake of it. Once richs has posted we could probably post at weekend. |

This follows my analysis in move 12:
12. a4 Ba6 13. Nb5 Rfc8 14. Nc4 Qd8 thus driving their queen back to her starting position. I agree with Nb5. Retina, moving our knight to b5 blocks the bishop exchange, thus we don't have to move our f1 rook now. Last fiddled with by richs on 2015-04-08 at 03:55 Reason: in, not is; knight not night |

I was just envisaging the bishop taking the knight (a6-b5) and then either the pawn or the bishop takes the bishop (a4-b5 or e3-b5). Black doesn't appear to need to move the queen at all.

A bishop is worth (or valued) slightly more than a knight, so black would hesitate to exchange their bishop for a knight which we would take with our a4 pawn. Our e2 bishop prevents their queen from then taking the pawn.
