Short version:
Is he reachable? I cannot open any of the links from his main pages: Various Amicable Pair Lists and Statistics Known Amicable Pairs I have tried the email listed, but it bounced as undeliverable. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Long Version: I have many machines searching for 4-cycle (sociable) aliquot sequences currently working in the 6*10^12 area. I'm using 2-cycle (amicable) finds to verify that each machine is working. One of my machines has not found any amicable pairs after searching several 4*10^9 size sections. Since there are less than 10k pairs with 13 digits and I'm really only searching for even first integers (described in this thread), it is possible that the machine in question has really not crossed any. However, to verify, I need to know if there exist any pairs within the sections. I had hoped to use Mr. Pedersen's list of 13 digit amicable pairs, but am not able to retrieve it. If not obtainable, I will need to rerun the sections (at least for amicables) on a different machine to verify. Alternately, if someone could point me to (a) list(s) elsewhere, it would be appreciated. I would really only need 5.5*10^12 through 6.7*10^12 ATM. Thanks! |

Here it is: http://www.filedropper.com/c213
I have all the amicable pairs, and sociable pairs from that site. But currently I do not see more (unitary pairs etc.). I can upload it. (in compressed format it is 1.8 Gb). In 2010 and 2012 I have also sent him an email, and there was no answer or undeliverable error. Just out of curiosity he (or someone else with the same name) has Fide rating, played 13 rated chess games in last year. |

Thanks for the file R. Gerbicz. It's all I need for now. The last few sections that have been run by the questionable machine have no amicable pairs that should have been found. Interestingly, the current section has no pairs, either. I may need to be particular with the next region selection for that machine.
Again, thanks... |

The pages you quote seem to be still accessible.

While the pages, e.g. Known Amicable Pairs, are there, I can not retrieve any of the text files referenced on the pages, e.g. 13 digits, which promises a list of 9877 pairs.
If you can retrieve the files, then I am stumped as to why I can't retrieve text files from this site while other sites give me no trouble. I suspect they were moved and there wasn't enough interest to correct all the links. Possibly a server change? |

Oh yes, you're right. I saw it afterwards.
So I searched with http://archive.org/web/. I found some of his files but not the ones you wanted. |
