Sorry I haven't said anything so far, but I agree that Kg5 is our only real alternative. I too think we are coming to the end of our 16 month game but let's drag it out until mate is assured.

Sorry forgot about the deadline while waiting for rich.
We place too much value on captincy. As far as I am concerned if we are unanimous then anyone can post. Everyone in our team seems sensible and trustworthy. The captain thing is really needed when you have idiots on a team.
I think this is my last game as captain for a while. I am fine playing but have been getting too distracted by life lately to remember things like deadlines.

Hmm, well I believe you're right that we four generally manage to function very well on an equal basis, though I have frequently found it reassuring that you have been there to give the final say during the play so far, David.

Perhaps there will be a complete restructuring of how we do things anyway if and when we start a third game.
