Move 47

Defending our a pawn tactically by playing ...Nd7 was our general intention last move, and it looks a good moment to me to play it now. After 47...Nd7 48. Re6+ Kd8 49.Ra6 Nc5 50.Rb6 Kc7 we're still alive, I guess.:smile:

Or is another waiting move with the bishop in order?

I think probably Nd7.
h5 still allows them to definitely take the pawn on h5. They do have to maneuver quite a bit but I don't think we can stop them.

I'd be happy if we play 47...Nd7 now then. But is anyone still considering other moves?

I'm not. I will leave it a few hours for Paul to post again(rich seems unlikely if he is travelling). Then I will post. We are in no rush.
