Hi math people,
I am replying to post 7 of this thread. http://folding.stanford.edu/ I'm not saying quit mersenne searching. I am saying there is a difference between finding a cure for a disease and increasing mankind's knowledge of mathematical trivia. Hi Math People,
Second post today. Computers can be used to simulate atomic interactions. The upshot of this can be new drugs like what they do at Stanford. Another upshot can be new materials. Think carbon fiber and the like. Okay I should be asleep now. Regards, Matt |
