And figured it out again. There was a .params file hidden. Once I deleted that, everything is good.

Assuming that the code to set/check .params was copied from factMsieve.pl it's probably not needed, msieve will happily process relations which were not all generated with the same bounds, siever, etc (obviously they must all be generated for the same poly).
I think the code was copied from factLat.pl when that was converted to use msieve. When I have some free time I'll try removing it from factMsieve.pl and testing how things work after changing parameters part way through a job. But don't hold your breath waiting for me to do it. Chris |

The reason things like factor base bounds were passed to msieve was because of line sieving. Filtering ignores them.
