No, it was Randi too (I guess it runs with the genes? see the chapter when he was in the jail in Philippines) and few others too, but less stressed in the book (more like suggested than explained, but it's there).

[and anyhow, as the topic is not yet closed, the author did a couple of other mistakes in that book, from the small ones, like losing couple of years of Enoch (does that guy ever ages after the war?) to some big ones, like "extremely fast developing leper disease" (Glory took the microbe and was already losing parts of the body in two years, when the incubation of the mycobacterium is in fact like 10-20 years or so! the first 5-7 years are totally asymtomatic). But all in all, the book is very good and we liked it enough to talk about it, we don't ever talk again about 99% of the books we read here...]
