I don't personally mind agreeing to their proposal, though I'm also perfectly happy to continue play through the holiday period.

I don't mind pausing the game. I would prefer to continue but if it isn't convenient for either team then we can pause.
I have exams on 14, 16, 17 Jan so I won't be available that week for more than a glance.

If they are proposing it, I assume that they wish to postpone for a good reason. I'm willing to go along with their proposal.

It sounds like the general consensus is that we would have been happy to continue playing but don't want to be difficult.

David, you could of course use the opportunity to ask for a similar pause during your exam week as a favour-in-return.

As our team captain, do you want to respond to cheesehead's posting in the public thread in any case?
