Default PSP servers incompatible with latest client?

I followed the instructions in the sticky and downloaded the latest client 5.2.8 from uwin.mine.nu. Looking at the stats at tools.1up.no/psp/stats/ it appears that pending tests show up with a user name derived from the client ID field (I had a unique client name set up, and there it was). I returned those units, went back to version 5.0.7, and now the pending tests show up correctly. It's apparent that other pending tests currently are showing client IDs as well. Is this a known issue?

Also, I see that several team requests have gone unanswered. Is this project still maintained, or is it yet another dead DC project?

The project is still active. However, most of the work is done through primegrid.com. Your team post will be addressed when ltd (Lars) has a chance.

I don't have much experience with PRPnet so I am not sure about the PRPnet question. Maybe some one else can help you.

Okay, thanks. I thought based on the post "PrimeGrid PSP (Sieve) is now suspended!" that there was no longer PSP work on primegrid.

In 5.2.0, the "clientid" parameter in the client was replaced by "machineid" and "instanceid". Although the client and server and forward/backward compatible, some stats might not appears as desired until both client and server are at 5.2.0 or above.
