I would support it at some point when we get a few of the more interesting bases tested so high that no one would work on them here. R6 with 2 k's remaining at n=1.4M is likely the closest that we are to such a base...but not willing to give it up yet. Some of our larger searchers will likely still work on it at times. If there are still 2 k's remaining, I might put it up for a vote once we are at n=2M to see if others think it might be better to give it up to a BOINC project at that point. (If down to 1 k remaining, I think we might want to take it higher.)

I would say SR25 would be a perfect choice for PG. I'm currently testing them to n=200K. I'm about 40% done. There should be about 150 k's remaining when I'm finished. PG could sieve and test it as far as it wants to go. It's in a way related to their current SR5 project. This could be SR25.
The primes should be near the Top5000 threshold when I get it to 200K. The remaining 6's and 16's are also good choices. Last fiddled with by MyDogBuster on 2013-11-09 at 09:04 |
