We beat the odds where I work

This happened Sunday night, but I found out about it Monday when I went to work.....there's one happy person up here in Suanville (and 2 happy people down in San Diego).

A store that I used to frequent (on about a weekly basis) sold a ticket to someone who won ~$1x10⁸ give or take 25%.

We're just down the road from Rooptown. In fact, our store is just down the street and around the corner from Roop's Fort.

D*mn fat fingers, anyway, I hate missing typos! It's nice to see that I'm not the only one.

PS. The customer came in today to check if it really was his ticket that won. He's a very nice retired gentleman that can use the money to spoil his grandkids.

PPS. The lottery pays a bounty to retailers that sell jackpot winners, so I expect we'll be getting a check for a whopping $83 from our district rep for our cut. ( of 1%.)

Nice one! In the 20 years I've been there, this is our 4th winner that's won more than petty change. (The biggest one was a MegaMillions winner who matched 5/5 for $168,000 in '12.)
