As expected, Bg7. What now?
Aug 22 is the posting date, and this time I double checked it! :smile: I think we should go by the book... Last time their f4 divagation wasn't very fortunate... edit: "by the book" I mean [URL="http://www.365chess.com/opening.php?m=9&n=12&ms=e4.c5.Nc3.Nc6.g3.g6.Bg2.Bg7"]d3, or Nge2[/URL]. I hope this time would not be BB the one getting angry with me because we played without him... (like chessehead did last time :P) As a side discussion, I had a look to Nf3 as an alternative, beside of the "classic" d3 or Ne2, but I did not like it, first because it is blocking the pawn, we would need to move f4 first, and exactly THAT was what I didn't like in the previous game; second, the position became soooo complicate so fast; third because I actually like d3 too, hehe... we still keep a chance to move f4 in the future if it is needed, to make the "closed" formation of the pawns from where the "closed sicilian" takes its name (see the book I linked before). |
