You did not find the right guy in me, for this subject. As I already commented in the former game's tread (you can read it), "there are very few people in the world novadays to be able to improve a chess opening". Certainly I am not one of those, and in the first game, my contribution also started when the mid-game started. The first part of the game was Mr. Palliser's (I see the link in that thread is lost, but I am [URL="http://www.scribd.com/doc/134441411/Starting-Out-Closed-Sicilian-Palliser-R-2006"]digging for it again[/URL], I have the book). The first game was a mirror of that book, up to a point. I am very good in final stage of the game, if I have time for analysis. I love arguing with you :razz: but for that we still have to wait few moves...

My concern regarding a 4. d3 Nf6 are 2 fold. The first is that it's an old response now considered third best thus lacking any current games. The second is that I no longer have access to any old books that cover it and from what little I do remember the positions that arise are not the easiest to analyse even when you have several days to make a decision.
