Cool Torture test v27.9.build 1

I'm trying to do a torture test of my CPU 3960X. I have it on an Asus RIVE board with 64GB RAM and a Gainward GTX690. The system is water cooled. Running on safe parameters, ie. max clock is 3900MHz, RAM max is 1333.

I run a custom torture test with Min FFT of 128 and Max of 1024 and 32GB memory to use.

The test is going fine, but why isn't it demanding anything from my CPU? Aida64 reports the CPU clock to be 3602MHz and the CPU temp is 44C and package temp is 56C. Thats hardly what I call a torture test.

Is there a description I can find somewhere on how to realy torture my system? I want to test how much I can OC my system, but if this is the best the test can do, then it's not hard enough to give me an answer.

1) What's the result if you select "in place" test, default?
2) For the custom test, how did you filled the "32GB" in the box?

Because it's stress testing the memory?
Try small FFT for CPU stress testing.

Also, if you want to test both more intensely you may want to try Linpack (a GUI "IntelBurnTest" from AgentGOD is available here).
It will also show you your practical performance in GFLOPS.

Nothing pounds a CPU harder than Linpack. It is also available with a front end called LinX, and as a part of OCCT. The latter also is great for torturing GPUs.

Anyone who can translate this one for me? I'm running in safe mode as you can see from the frequency.
