Living in the US, I've often thought of building a new vehicle and naming it a "No." That way, I'd have lots of places to park it in the big cities. But then, I got thinking that I'd get stuck in those same cities, going in circles due to all the "No right turn on red" intersections. I wonder if England would prove a better location for such...

Watching an episode of House right now in which the patient has trouble breathing and is suspected of having a "pleural effusion". Presumably that is twice as bad as a "singular effusion".

What? No, of course not. It would be at least twice as bad, perhaps many times as bad.

I don't know, singular became AT&T Mobile and it doesn't get much worse than that.

Ah, thanks. It's good to have medical experts like yourself around to help us with these tricky diagnostic issues.

Oh? Would we regret seeing the details of what constitutes an AT&T Mobile effusion?

Was watching [insert name of random crime drama here] last night ... at the end of the episode the Good Guy says to the Bad Guy in tried and true old-trope-whydja-do-it-Johnny fashion: "Can I ask you one question?"

It occurred to me just then that the above setup in fact loses much of its dramatic punch because the obvious reply is "I believe you just did." [Fade scene. Roll credits.]

I read somewhere that Linda Lovelace claims she was forced into making that movie.
