At least half the people you know are below average, or else, at least half are above average. After our recent discussion of mean versus median, I didn't expect this point to come up again so soon!

Once upon a time, when my daughter was quite small, like 2-3-4 years old or so, I was explaining to her that the frying pan has a layer of teflon on it, because nothing sticks to the teflon when you cook. After a bit of looking cross to me, she replied "if nothing sticks to teflon, how did they stuck the teflon to the cooking pan?". Deep thinking, real story!

Sigh... Chappy and I were referencing Steven Wright.

"If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the precipitate.

"My theory of evolution is that Darwin was adopted.

"Officer, I know I was going faster than 55MPH, but I wasn't going to be on the
road an hour.

"Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time.

"What's another word for Thesaurus?

"You can't have everything. Where would you put it?

Wright is, IMO, a true genius

Default Gender inequality.

Tell a man something and it goes in one ear and out the other.

Tell a woman something and it goes in both ears and out the mouth.

Thanks, I had never heard of him, but after looking at a couple of clips, I agree, he is a genuine comic genius!

If the latest bitmining ASIC based machines are as great as the company claims, and can generate oodles of income in a short time, and have such short a ROI, why does the company sell them to others?

Why don't psychics that can predict next weeks lottery numbers buy their own picks and become wealthy?

If going to heaven is all so wonderful and great as claimed by many religions why are people so afraid of dying?

Why do government agencies spend so much time and effort attempting to discredit conspiracy theories? There must be some reason for it...
