Default mfakto 0.13 released

I've loaded the windows bits of mfakto 0.13 to http://mersenneforum.org/mfakto/mfakto-0.13/, linux bits follow tomorrow.

Please run the selftest first as usual (-st), and don't forget to send benchmark info to James. Using a single instance with GPU sieve enabled, this can be any normal run.

Have fun and find many factors!

Awesome, tried it with tests, and started trial factoring with this version, and its even faster.,. 25ghz days more on the 6970 card.

Excellent work.

Im impressed.

This is within 5% of the theoretical #-of-cores x clockspeed comparison.
The stock clocks of the 7770 and 7790 are same, 1000 MHz. I overclocked mine to 1100 MHz.

Linux bits are there as well now.

Yes, that's what I meant to say. And 7790@1200MHz is 148% of 7770@1100MHz.

The 7790@1200MHz should be at ~230 GHz-days/day for factoring between 270 and 273. From 273 to 282 it should be around 205 GHz-days/day. The 7770@1100MHz is ~2/3 of that.

I think, 6970 should still be 10 or 15% ahead - at stock clock it should reach ~260/230 GHz-days/day for tests below/above 273, respectively. Is that about what you see?

Note that the mentioned 7790 results are 20% overclocked.

Yes, I see 235ghz days to 230ghz days in the console.. stock clock.
card is too hot to overclock, the fan for some reason doesnt go above 35%.,. not sure why.. I prob need to get another 3pin connector to test tonight..

How could you do that to me! Release a new wersion and calling it stable without letting me bash it for a while...

Anyhow, I have downloaded it and I ran the self test... look what i found!

Code:
Selftest statistics
  number of tests 287351
  successful tests 287351

selftest PASSED!
Not even I could break this version.... yet...

Great work! Thanks!

There's still time to bash it ... just keep trying

Did you all send a benchmark run to James?
