help for a Mac user

Hello,
I'm running prime95 for about 3 years. I have 2 P4's running LL tests. I have an extra iMac 350 (Mac OS 9, with 320 MB RAM).
1- How can I use my iMac most effectively for GIMPS?
2- Which programs I need for Mac? (I'm a stranger for Mac's, so I cannot compile any programs, I need a fully working program for it).

As Prime95 is highly optimised towards the P4 cpu, you will have to accept that you will get nowhere near the same perfomance prorata.

Guillermo Valor has written the program Glucas for the MAC and can be obtained at: http://www.belchfirecomputing.com/GI...as/Glucas.html. I believe that this program has already been compiled. Any problems then post a message here :D

glucas is compiled only for Mac OS X, but I have Mac OS 9... I'm not sure if it works or not, but will try ASAP (I hope it works)
another question...
can I use glucas for trial factoring?
