Is there a way (other than manually assignments) to set the work type in proxy to DC-P1?

Check that the worker windows are set to ask for p-1 work, rather than depending on the work type set on the primenet site, or for the computer in general.

Prime95/mprime/PrimeNet doesn't have a worktype defined for DC P-1.

If you would like DC P-1 assignments rather than LL P-1 assignments, please let me know.

I knew Primenet didn't; I just didn't want to assume one way of the other for GPU72.

If you are asking if I want assignments: YES, but do you have to do it or is there a way I can (i.e. manually)?
How do others (how does anyone) get them?

So you do have a choice to select these manually...but they are assigned as N/A...curious!!??

(Sorry for my lurking. I decided to spend some time "AFK" (at least, dealing with humans -- still screaming at several of my machines)...)

For DiamondDave, who's the main DC P-1 worker (and with his permission and knowledge), I added a specific conditional for his UID in the proxy such that when his machines asked for LL P-1 work, he would instead be assigned DC P-1.

This could also be enabled for you (or anyone). But I think it would be better to simply leave things as they are for the moment, and when I'm able to sleep again (Real Soon Now) I'll provide DC P-1 as an overriding option to each GPU72 Worker's Machine settings.

Edit: DC P-1 assignments are issued a "virtual" AID. As in, they appear in the GPU72 assignment report with last updated and estimated completion dates, but not on Primenet.

I see that I've misconfigured the spider fetcher twice in 2 days now for different purposes. The first was simply me making a stupid mistake, but this second misconfiguration this morning led to some curious results. I don't know if it is a bug or an undocumented feature.

Specifically, I told it to fetch the lowest number (Option 3) in the range 0 to 100000000 with a pledge level of 70 (felt like doing a little dc work).

The first big surprise was that I got numbers in the 63M range, not the 31M range I was expecting. The second big surprise was that they were not to 70... they were to 71. I went and doublechecked the pledge level and it is certainly set to 70. But rather than tell me there weren't any it went to 71 instead.

Why?
