Non-specialized fans in a case should pull air in (suck), to assist the specialized fans immediately near high heat producers like CPUs, GPUs and PSs which should push air out. Unless something is very wrong, air_in == air_out. Edit: Assuming a closed system. Some think leaving the cover off helps them. This is a fallacy unless there aren't enough fans, and the ambient temperature is low enough that convection does the work. Last fiddled with by chalsall on 2013-01-23 at 21:46 |

A newbie question here:
What is the difference between different GPU kernels? If I start an exponent using barrett92_mul32 kernel and then continue with barrett87_mul32_gs kernel from the last finished class, will I compromise the results? Thank you. |

That changes how the trial divide is done, not the actual results of the divide. You should be fine.

I guess I'll give these 590s I've got a whirl and see what they can do. Maybe then I can go see what 4 285 classifieds and 3 580SCs will give. I'm doing other DC projects too, so no quotes on how long before I will get to doing all of this. |
