Can't figure out what I am doing wrong here; I set up a new laptop "Chuck-Toshiba" in early January. It has four cores working, first two LL, third DC and the fourth supposed to be doing P-1. The worker window preferences are set in the Prime95 program on the laptop and in the CPU preferences in my Prime95 account.
The work is being assigned through the GPU72 proxy, as I see the "GPU72 assigned..." messages in the communication window and the assignments show up on the GPU72 site. But the fourth worker continues to get DC instead of P-1 work. It was assigned a new DC 29055073 today. Can't figure why I am not getting P-1 on the fourth core. |

This can be caused if your computer has not informed the server of the desired work type for each core.
If you set the work type from what it is currently to something else (like from P-1 to DC) and have the client contact the server, then set it back to what you want (P-1) future work should be assigned correctly. If you don't want to do the DC you were assigned, just unassign it from the client and the system will recycle it to someone else. |
