How difficult (painstakingly or financially) would it be for the forum to be upgraded to facilitate the use of the Tapatalk app on Android mobile devices? Sure would make life easier for us 'Droid users who like to read and post on the go.

Is Tapatalk the app that turns everything into a Spinal Tap homage?

"Tap 11 times to increase volume to eardrum-bleed level..."

Please do not enable Tapatalk on these forums. It creates an annoying pop up every time you visit the forums from an android device. I can read these forums from my phone just fine.

If you want better mobile templates, you can upgrade to a new version of vBulletin.

Thank you.

That is a good point. Please don't enable this.

The branch of vBulletin that the forum runs is an older one. It still has security updates but no functionality updates.

We choose to use the older forum software because it is a lot simpler than the new branch.

Yes, vBulletin 3.8 is in many ways the best of vBulletin – the golden standard for forum software, even though these days it feels dated.

So what if it is dated. It works well for us. Small phones are a bit more difficult but that is a small price to pay.
