Ah I see I didn't take into account that you are in FL where it is 75 during the day. Where I am, it is <50F in the daytime.

LaurV did just that. He went through the wall and mounted his WC radiator outside. There's a thread somewhere describing it.

EDIT: My GTX 570 went "poof" (literally) last night. I am back to 4 P-1s on the CPU and 2x mfaktc on the GTX 460. This is going to cause a real backup in the work I already had assigned. CUDALucas comes to a screeching halt, and mfaktc slows down by more than half.

At least GPU72 will keep me posted as to which assignments are getting too long in the tooth.

I am hopeful for an RMA, but we'll see. At least the whole box is a lot cooler and quieter now.

Around here we have these cunning devices called "windows". It appears that they share some characteristics with a software interface going by the same name.

Anyway, on the rare occasions that my study gets too hot I open a "window" or two and the excess heat magically disappears.

That won't help if it's the same or higher temperature outside as inside
