Arggh, awful marketing. Tale of the Troika (a very different sequel, same characters) was much more to my liking; it was only published in Samizdat at the time.

Also, Tarkovsky's 'Stalker' is a loose screenplay for a part of one of the novels. A special collaboration.

I was just re-reading again the 'Monday' and 'Tale of the Troika'. Very slowly - mainly in the gym, while on the stairmaster. ...but I go there so rarely. Hence, the slowness.
