Alex Karras. I didn't know much about football when my dad took me to see "Paper Lion". He made me laugh. Later, as "Mongo", he made me laugh some more.

Arggh, awful marketing. Tale of the Troika (a very different sequel, same characters) was much more to my liking; it was only published in Samizdat at the time.

Also, Tarkovsky's 'Stalker' is a loose screenplay for a part of one of the novels. A special collaboration.

Now the second brother, Boris, passed away at age 79. RIP!

I was just re-reading again the 'Monday' and 'Tale of the Troika'. Very slowly - mainly in the gym, while on the stairmaster. ...but I go there so rarely. Hence, the slowness.

What was the cause of death? Heart attack, stroke, cancer, or other? If "other", then please tell me the cause.
