however, can you cover the "Gimps password" field? to **** etc ?

Given that the GIMPS site puts the password on the query string the concept of password security is not viable for this URL. Knowing of this exposure I decided to not hide or encrypt the password. However I expected someone to challenge me on these decisions. I figured the forum needed some chatter...

I can mask the password on the UI and even encrypt it, but from a pure security point of view it is already exposed.

However I usually try to do what is "correct" so look for it in the next build....

I see my password all the time in the url when logging into gimps, and my history too

User feedback from others has taken mfaktXapp well beyond its first version into pretty useful utility. Anything you think of be considered.
