it´s a 680w beQuiet!
this cards dont need extra power cable/connectors. they only get energy from MB pcie slots (max. 75 watt). each card need under heavy load max. 65 watt.. usualy 50-55w. before i had a gtx and a ati in the system and they needed together min. 3 times more power then two 640 that do ;) to the testruns: i couldn´t UC the coreclock. it´s always 901.5 mhz but i reduced the memoryclock from 891 to 400mhz and began a testrun with both card together. fazit: the same as before ! the next run with only one card but both installed. second card in idle-mode. fazit: the same again. the next run with only one card installed in the system. fazit: the same again. the next run with a gt 640 (slot1) and a OC gtx 260 (slot2) for sure with the same application mfaktc-win-64 (4.2) fazit: the same again with the exception that the gtx is working and working ... after i´ve stopped ;) the next run with two gt 640 (slot1 and 2) and a gtx 260 (slot3) fazit: the same with the exception the old gtx is working. system is a little bit more busy :D the next run with only the old gtx fazit: working. ! Well I don't think your cards will work in PCI-E 2 slots, but I am not an expert. Please check the manual which the cards came with.
