Don't hold your breath...I've been monitoring the last 9 in the 38-39M ranges for the last 6 weeks and this assignment has been at 56.9% for a month now.
Mind you it did move from 55.6% to 56.9% between May 8 and May 18. Probably May 13 when it last checked in. If the next check in next week is another 1.3% ....

PS George, since there's only 35 left total untested expos below known primes, would it be possible to program PrimeNet not to reassign them if/when they become available so that you can hand them out to chalsall, who might in turn pass them out to me/petrw1/bcp19/garo/flash etc. etc. for a quick finish? Any two of us could finish them in two months flat were they not already assigned.

Just don't give them to me. As Chris will confirm, I would polish them off in no time at all

I've competed 6 in the past few days, and have at least 3 more. What about our good friends garo and chalsall?

I only have two 25Ms left, both on a very slow borged machine I don't have access to. I may sacrifice the 200 days already invested and finish them off with one of my faster machines.

Spidy holds nothing not already out with workers.

Isn't the elimination of progressively more assignments the point? Also, I don't at the moment see the "one bit" assignments. Such a thing is vanishing rare in my lists. I am taking exponents to 72 or 73 depending on the range. There was a time when mfakto was more limited as to efficient operating ranges, which led to more "up to 71" runs. I believe that has been remedied in good part.

Are you saying that, even if only one bit-level of factoring will reach the nominal release level, a level or two more should be done?

I mis-wrote regarding assignments needing one bit-level to reach the release point. However, those need doing, too. I take such assignments sometimes, though I admit to trolling for newly released exponents which are starting from 68 or 69. In any case, I take them to the requisite release level.

It also seems that I may have posted this response to Davieddy in the wrong thread.....or the item I was responding to has been moved. It's hard to keep track when the same complaints show up anywhere and everywhere.

July 22, 2012. All exponents below 39 million have been tested at least once.

and me, and me, pick me, pick me... (Donkey, in "Shrek 1" movie)
(I already did few 25M and one "milestone" 40M assigned with the help of chalsall, I will, generally, stop other activities for a milestone assignment. Unfortunately I would get them very seldom, almost never, without some help from the assignment gods).
