The GUIDs you provided are enough info. However, investigating the bug isn't at the top of my priority list.

All eight of my CPUs show up on the CPU page. For the two CPUs in question, when I click on them and get the page that shows the details for these 2 CPUs, they both report that benchmarks ahve been performed (and uploaded to the server). None of the benchmarks for these 2 CPUs show up on the benchmarks page however. All the benchmarks for my other 6 CPUs show up however. I am pretty sure I have done every thing correctly in terms of registering these CPUs with my user id. I would think the fact that they show up on the CPUs page but that the associated benchmarks do not show up on the "benchmarks" page is an indication of some sort of web page bug or a database error.

George,
Understood about your priority list. Thanks for GIMPS and all your hard work. Forrest |

For what it's worth, one of my older laptops only shows up in the benchmark list if I uncheck "Exclude overclocked and underclocked data" because the base CPU rate was 800 MHz, but on CPU utilization it climbed up to 1900 MHz. I apologize if this is not relevant information to your problem.
The laptop has since been retired, so I would be unable to do any further testing with it. I just tested with my new laptop, and the problem is not repeatable, even though it lists my A8-3500M as being in excess of 7000 MHz. The new laptop is not listed as an over/underclocked result. |

OK. I feel a little stupid now. I unchecked the "Exclude overclocked and underclocked data" flag as was suggested first by George and then by KingKurly and my machines' "lost" benchmarks then showed up. Thanks for all the responses. Not sure why the web page thinks they are over/under clocked but don't really care now that I know the work around.
I do notice that the "speed" reported for the 6 benchmarks I did with the iMac are not identical. I got three different values: 3450, 3550, & 3551 MHz??? Since the processor is supposed to be a 3.4 GHz = 3400 MHz part, the webpage must be determining that my iMac is overclocked. Perhaps this has to do with a nuance of the data returned by the CPUID instruction which from my limited experience seems to require a significant investment in time to completely understand! Understanding this is way low on my priority list now that I can uncheck the mentioned flag and get the desired result. Thanks again everyone. Forrest |

That would be the Turbo Boost at work, no fancy programming implementation explanation necessary. If you turn off TB, you should see values around 3400, maybe +/- 50 MHz. (The electronics in charge of setting the frequency aren't that precise.)
