Sigh...
Have you looked at http://www.gpu72.com/reports/released_level/ recently? Over 17,000 first-time candidates taken to 72 bits. Meanwhile, you've done less overall work in the last year (521.182 GHz Days) than we do in two hours.... |

Work is a four letter word. I've done ~8 LLs on my home 'puter last year. Can't understand why I haven't found another prime. Keep up the good work! ![]() D. Last fiddled with by davieddy on 2012-01-22 at 09:26 |

That is a different P-1, you pushed the previous limits higher (improved previous result).

Just turned in another LL-DC 26066189. It was assigned to me by G272 on 19 Jan 2012. After I tunred in the result I checked PrimeNet and it says it was assigned to ANONYMOUS on 16 Jan 2012?
chalsall, I notice that most, if not all, the exponents that get returned to PrimeNet get assigned to ANONYMOUS on the same day... is that correct or is the system mistakenly assigning them to ANONYMOUS? Jerry |

What this means for you is that 1) On the day it was assigned to you, with an AID, then under PrimeNet it should have been assigned to ANON either that day or the day before or something like that, whenever G72 did the unreserve/reserve. In this case, three days before is perfectly normal. 2) The next time your computer sends completion dates, PrimeNet will see the AID, see that it was assigned to ANON, and then "move" the assignment to be under your name. It should thus appear in your mersenne.org/workload page. I say "move" because the AID is still valid, it is not changed. I would check the exponent page again, it is currently not assigned to anyone, and is listed as complete. |

GPU72 tries to keep 50 of the lowest available candidates in each class. But in order to transfer ownership to the LL/DC workers, the system has to release them from official ownership, and then try to reclaim as Anonymous. But, of course, there are many PrimeNet users who are "ANONYMOUS"; not just "AnonSpidy". Once the GPU72 system releases the candidates back to PrimeNet their rules apply. As an aside, please do note that according to both PrimeNet and GPU72, you did, and were credited for, the DC work you did on 26066189. Some of my assignments (for which I still have valid keys!) are assigned to other persons, like for example 26116141 and 26206969 appear assigned to KYOJI_KAMEI. Is this another nickname for gpu272? (as gimps-visualisation is/was, or so?). Primenet does not complain about my key, just about the fact that there is another user having the assignment. Should I still work them on, or unreserve them all?

I picked up 1 new DC yesterday and 2 more today, but when P95 talks to the server, it comes back and tells me the assignment key already belongs to another user. Upon checking, all 3 exponents are registered to the same person.
