Someone at PrimeGrid compiled a new version of llr.exe. It uses AVX, according to article there, it runs faster on Sandy Bridge and Bulldozer:
http://www.primegrid.com/forum_threa...rap=true#46393 Is it okay to use it for PSP-PRP (I have to wait for Win binary though)? Last fiddled with by iconized on 2012-01-10 at 17:01 |

As PrimeGrid is using it, and it produces compatible residues, I don't see why it should not be OK to use it here. It is substantially faster for those who have Sandy Bridge chipsets. :)

I'm testing the new AVX-app on both lunix and win. SP only. Please let me know if they generates any bad residues.
