It is conceivable that I unreserved them, though I have rarely done so, and not for some time. In general (almost exclusively, I think), things get into my worktodo's via copy and paste from the GPU to 72 Assignments page. Thus, my first thought is always to suspect a fumble in that process. But I am the last one who should speculate. My record of accuracy is hardly pristine. |

I have more to report on the Result not needed, Error 40 front. My day took me away twice. Once right after I first posted. I had a brief time when I got back, and checked my worktodo files. I found one in progress, which showed factored to 72, and pulled it out. When I got back this evening I uploaded results and got three more, seven total. While I can freely admit the possibility of fumbling the loading of assignments, if that were the case the completed results would have my name on them.
Here is the list I now have: Code:
46876849 -Greg 70-71 RichD0 71-72 45164401 -rduerr 70-71 RichD0 71-72 45103577 -rduerr 70-71 RichD0 71-72 47030231 -Greg 70-71 lalera 71-72 46992689 -Greg 70-71 RichD0 71-72 47000077 -Greg 70-71 lalera 71-72 45731041 -Greg 70-71 RichD0 71-72 I am really at a loss as to how I might have gotten these....(EDIT: if they rightfully belonged to someone else.) EDIT: This is very strange. I just went and looked at my GPU to 72 Assignments page, and all of my P-1 assignments are gone. I had quite a lot of them and now I only have TF's. I have yet to get any Error 40's on P-1's, but I'm wondering if I should stop them until this is resolved. Last fiddled with by kladner on 2012-01-17 at 03:03 |

Well, sorry it's you, too. But glad I'm not the only one, all the same. For the moment, I've stopped P95 and mprime, and shut down the Linux box. I'll run an extra mfakct instance in the meantime.

Well, all my P-1, LL DC and LL First Checks are not listed either. Maybe it's just a sql select error.

Yep, something is going on.
I only have TFs listed in my assigned exponents. Please don't make me manually check all my exponents :) I have 1200 TFs, a couple of LL DCs, and about 10 or so P-1s assigned to me atm. :) -- Craig |

I have checked all my TFs for reasons mentioned above. Of course, with only 31 that is not such a chore. EDIT: All back to normal! Last fiddled with by kladner on 2012-01-17 at 04:35 |

Can you tell me (approximately is fine) when you were assigned these? Quote:

Sorry for the broad ranges. I'm usually just concerned when assignments start to look older than usual, and that is relying on the Assignments page.....for which I am very grateful. It has caused me to sit up and take notice more than once. Last fiddled with by kladner on 2012-01-17 at 04:56 |

I have done some extensive analysis, and I am also at a loss as to how you got these assignments.
According to every database record and log I have, these were never assigned to you by the G72 system. I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm just telling you what I see from what I can audit. (And I'm probably at fault, although I can't figure out how.) Please keep bringing to my attention any "result not needed" reports you encounter. Is anyone else seeing such results? I want to get to the bottom of this. (Was it Asimov who said something like "Most scientific discovery is based not on the Eureka moment, but instead on someone saying to themselves 'that's odd'."?) |
