Hey. OK, my script has finished running for the LL / DC videos which Dubslow originally asked for.

Please see:

Note there are some errors for a few "days" early on in the videos (they're pretty obvious). I'll try to clean that up as best as I can over time.

Perhaps I'll save the files for 12/31 and post those? And then say every six months. In order to save everyone a bunch of trouble, I could also put all 5 of them in one video, which I think is still well under 10 mins.

Edit: Nuts, that's slow progress. Slight comfort can be taken from the fact that the x axis is scaled to (roughly) the square root of cost per test.
Why is the LL tail so fricken long? There's only ~150 tests left below M43, perhaps we should just reserve those for people here we can be sure will finish them quickly (sorry anon)... (by which I mean if they're unreserved at any point, of course don't want to subvert anyone in progress).

Of course it's likely that you've already tried these, but it seems most of us here use Chrome or Firefox, which are relatively nice this way, and I just want to make sure it's considered.

Edit: While the video tag does not seem to work, object does, for me and Chrome at least. More details to come. (With the video tag a box appeared on screen, but nothing happened when I pressed play, and because the box appeared, it did not revert to the object tag as it should have.)

Edit: For tonight at least, at presumably also the next couple of days (until I next boot to Windows) a small demonstration can be found here. As always, thanks to chalsall for the videos and data, and Woltman, Kurowski, et. al. for the rest.

Question on Data: What's with the weird bump in DC's at 26.7M? And then the next two bumps that appear? Did somebody do a mass DC reservation or something?

Blasted edit time limit. I was adding a note that went like this.

Note: For me at least the videos autoplay when the page loads. I think that's my browser plugin's behavior, and not something I can change through HTML.

Arrggggggg. You can use external style sheets to modify HTML elements; is it somehow possible to reference some outside page to get the elements themselves? For instance, how can I get one version of <head>content</html> to appear on different pages without having to copy and paste it? This would also be how to get identical menus and what not on different pages of the same site.
