Despite an appropriate-sounding family name, what I wrote is about as much as I actually understand the language
![]() Even with some assistance from Google, I'm not quite sure I understand what you're saying -- that FFTs have sizes, but those sizes are not measured in bytes, so I should express it as 3M, but not 3MB? If that's all, why didn't you say so?

Though James is usually spot-on, I'm afraid that this time you've spotted that he's inserted a "B" where there should not be one.

It still seems that small FFT's do not parallelize well in AVX.
