Default How to start GPU computing?

Taking a GTX250 card out of F@H duty and would like to dedicate it to Prime95; however, I can't seem to find out exactly how to do that.

Could someone please point me to some step-by-step instructions (software, download WU, upload results, etc....)?

Thanks, Colin

Post GPU Computing Guide Update to v 0.03

Hi,
I've updated the GPU Computing Guide to v 0.03, see attached.
Changes:
- Updated CUDALucas section: 1.2 is available for Win64 (thanks to user apsen)
- Added download links to missing but needed dlls (some @ my personal webspace)
- Added first ATI app: mfakto using OpenCL, not yet released

If there's need for this pdf I'll post updates here as I find the thread title more suitable than "putting it all together".

Feel free to suggest improvements or report errors. I still think that the best solution is to put this on a wiki page so that everybody can update it.

Brain,

This is great!

Just one question (for now!) -- in the Example Call under CUDALucas, what do the second, third, and fourth lines (that is, starting with /D) mean? It's not clear to me how they're related to the first line. What does one actually type on the command line, to get the program going?

Rodrigo

Rodrigo
Code:
start "CUDALucas.exe -c10000 27942641"
/D"X:\Computing\cudalucas.1.2.winx64" /MIN
"X:\Computing\cudalucas.1.2.winx64\CUDALucas.cuda3.2.sm_21.WIN64.exe" -c10000 27942641
Enter this completely in the command line (windows). Work as follows:
Starts CUDALucas minimized at normal priority (/LOW switch forces low prio), syntax:
Code:
start.exe "window title" /D"<workdir>" /<run flags> "<exe to run>" <exe parameters>
I run both mfaktc and CUDALucas simultaneously and have/feel better CUDALucas performance when only mfaktc runs at low prio.

Of course, you can start CUDALucas.exe the normal way without start.exe.
