Except that each 10M range will be slightly quicker until the 290M range which will take about 40% less time than the 200M range.

That is, the time from 200M to 300M should be roughly given by [1 + (20/21)+(20/22)+(20/23)+(20/24)+...+(20/29)]t, or 18 + 20*18*sum(1/n), where n = 21, 22, 23, ... , 29, or 18 + 0.36391*360 = 149.0076 days. 149 days from April 29 (when we entered the 200M range) is September 25. You had it after all .

Late on June 3 (US EDT), PrimeNet began handing out assignments in the 220M range. That's 18 days to clear out 200-210M, and another 17 days to clear out 210-220M.
Expected time to clear out 210-220M would be between (200/210)*18 and (210/220)*18, or between 17.14 and 17.18 days. |

Then for the 220M-230M range, we have (205/225)*18 = 16.4, (215/225)*17 = 16.2, or (210/225)*35/2 = 16.3 |

Hi all! I'm new to this and find it fascinating, but unfortunately somewhat confusing.
I'd like to participate, but am unsure what ranges are available. I tried to find the answer in this forum, but it seems to me the "Ranges Available" thread is quite dated. Could anyone perhaps suggest one for me? I've got a brand new Intel i7 870 I'm itching to get started working on this project.

If, on the other hand, you want to do "Independent LMH" work, please see post #11 on this thread. Basically, 500-600M, 700-800M and 900-1000M are currently being worked by "lumberjacks". There is also a small amount of work being done in the 600-700M and 800-900M range, although I haven't bothered to figure out by who. The 400-500M range is not receiving any work at the moment. Hope that helps. And welcome to GIMPS!!!

There is a lot of room in the 300 range.
