That "Rainbow Bridge" thing is a nice thought, but our son knows Gerbil2 ended up in a cardboard coffin in the trash and that he is "gone for good".

Our old tomcat, Darius, developed a liver tumour and had to be put down in January.

He didn't get a coffin, but he did get a decent burial in the garden. SWMBO and I are great believers in such things.
