I've gone 103 mph (166 km/h) on a rural highway in a Toyota Camry. The car started shaking at 90mph, so I figured I'd quickly hit the century mark and then shut it back down.
The fastest I've driven within city limits was 92 mph. Strangely enough, it felt a lot faster than the 103 mph I'd driven in the countryside. I guess the presence of so many things going by makes you realize that you're really travelling almost half the length of a football field each second. |

I would say but since my actual name is here, I probably shouldn't.

Fastest on my car 175 km/h, usually when I go out at 160 km/h. I love to drive at night.

190+ Km/h (120 mph) in a stock Volkswagen (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_Jetta) 4 cylinder.
175+Km/h (110 mph) in a different car, again show room stock 4 cylinder sedan and not hitting the red line. And have been ~100 mph in several others (some I drove, some others, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lotus_Europa#Series_2 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camaro#...7.E2.80.931969 among others) I would have no problem driving faster (my desire is strong) with a clear course and no chance of a 'bear' sighting. Have also done 80Km/h in reverse on a somewhat closed course in a 4x4 truck (but in 2 wheel drive at the time.) |

I, too, was once ticketed in Utah for 102 in a 75mph zone (that's documented - but I am pretty sure they missed my better moments). The fees were not as steep as they are now. (...and I did successfully bargain down to a lower violation) Nothing to be too proud about. I wasn't making any bloody video though, simply getting from point A to point B (which was Yosemite), "but what kind of a Russian man doesn't like a fast ride?" /N.V.Gogol/ |

E.g. you can order an Audi RS6 with limit set to 280km/h (IIRC). Ofcourse you can remove those limits with 3rd party tools... but I'm not sure if this is a good idea. The 250km/h limit is not a must by government. It is officially called "voluntary self-restriction" from the manufactures. Oliver Last fiddled with by TheJudger on 2011-03-07 at 11:03 |

Fastest in a car is a bit over 100mph --- perhaps 103mph (165 km/h) or so.
On a motorbike, however, it's alleged that I was doing a little over 130mph (210km/h). Paul |
