Default Post edit history gone?

I can't seem to click "last fiddled with" any more to see the edit (or fiddlin', if you prefer ) history on posts.

Yeah, there has been a few changes lately. Max posts per page is reduced back to 25. Time between searches increased back to 60 seconds. Time between posts from 60, to 300, then to 120 seconds. Confirmation questions to change user settings.

Is this board slowly dying of bandwidth strangulation? Or are spammers/trolls/cranks/hackers creating unseen havoc in the background?

I kinda like the changes so far. For me, the "moderating" influence has
let me put a throttle on my own posting burst-rate.

And the sp*mmers/tr*lls/cr*nks/h*ckers seem to be getting
under control.

Better for the mforum.

Hmm, that's interesting considering that it's still showing me 50 posts per page. I suspect this is because I had manually set it to that back when the default was 100. (Now, however, it shows "Use Forum Default" as the selected option when I look in the User CP...probably a minor glitch because the 50 option, which it "should" be showing for me, has been removed and thus the browser just displays the first item in the list.)

@Snake1: any public comments as to the reasoning behind these changes? Is the database bumping up against another hosting-tier limit again? That would explain the removal of post-edit history.
