a test to try near the speed of light I know it might succumb to relativity I thought about that, then it came out as not a factor in my mind as CRG said the people expected to be 12 times there weight wouldn't feel it so neither should the spacecraft. if worse comes worse alter the equation to match relativity then we can hopefully learn how to do warp or close to.
