At the moment there are 73 prp's with 470 digits. If you download 100 numbers you'll be duplicating work with someone who starts at 471

I simple download 500 prp's and run the following batch file to put all the prp's with length %1 in a separate directory.

Code:
@Echo off
md .\batches\%1
grep -l "%1 dig" .\batches\*.in | xargs -n1 -i mv {} .\batches\%1
to avaoid dupplication, i'll take 475 (156 numbers)
So why, selecting "470", I got 535 digits numbers?

Luigi

464-465 is done.

I noticed a lot of 300 and near have shown back up. I'll do 500 of them overnight. Hopefully I'm not duplicating someone else. . .

Nope, since the certificates are verified by the server, there is no need to know who uploaded a particular certificate. I assume it just discards any that are incorrect.

I guess there actually is one "like" that would be served by keeping a record of who uploads what: those that need a leaderboard to get motivated might be de-motivated by a lack thereof....

Less than 12 hours to complete the rest.

I guess it was a waste:
Code:
Found 500 files, 0 certificates added.
Has anyone else noticed that while we've been adding certificates (at least some of us), the number of unproven primes has increased considerably? Yesterday, it showed ~50k - now, it shows ~56k

I didn't keep track exactly, but i think several hundred thousand numbers where added to the DB over the last few days.

It's hard to avoid duplication at the moment. For larger batches I try to skip the lower prp's. And while I'm behind the PC i do smaller batches and submit more frequently.

The term of "unproven prime" is meaningless. "probable prime" would be good.
