Congrats to MiHost for the first prime of the rally! (PCZ found one just five minutes before the rally began--ouch. )

This may not be very obvious for some of our newer searchers. Here is a direct link to the rally standings/stats:

Hi everybody,happy new year everyone!
I'm back crunching for NPLB!
One thing that wonders me is why Team Free-DC is last in the rankings and I'm apparently the only one crunching for that team.
So,what's up with you Free-DC guys? Did you all go to Raiders of the lost Primes?

I think they went to AMD users, which is why they're kicking our butts. ROLP is still the same group as always.

Yes, we are currently on AMDUsers to pay back for their help on a different project.

Wow. Look at that race for the top individual spot!

On an individual note, I've been down a quad for a little over a day. Stupid mobo! Figures it'd go out during the rally...going to get a new one later today. Max, this one was a rarity...it's only the 2nd mobo blown on any of my 4 original Intels in ~2-1/2 years of work.

Indeed--just a 185-test difference between Lennart and Brian. Two additional cores could cover that difference in just a day.

What is the total number of Primes found so far in this rally?
Could we have that added as another statistic?

Also, what are the chances of finding a Prime at the levels we're searching for in this rally?

Gary and I have been keeping a list in the first post of this thread with all the primes found in the rally. (There's a total count at the top of the list.)

As for odds, at n=910K with sieve depth p=1405T, we're expecting about 1 prime every 10,154 candidates.

I've brought a few cores onto this for a few days to stop Sloth feeling all lonesome...
