[edit]Maybe it is my machine. It says that the file is not found. I can see them listed in the zip though.
They are BZipped. The machine that I was on had a lame zip program. 7zip had no problem.

There is an odd LARGE jump in the P-90 column from 1999 to 2000

I think that it is based upon a recalc by George of the effort required (likely after a new version of Prime95)

It could be due to the large increase in the number factored, which then didn't need an LL test or two. That probably happened after the increase in range from 20.5M to 79.3M.

In my spreadsheet, I have the actual dates included, not just the year. And for those that didn't have Oct-25 available I picked up the closest.

Anyone have archive of the classic report from v5 server ( http://mersenne.org/report_classic/ ) from late 2008 when v5 server started until now?

I took all those reports posted in this thread and took the total "Factored", "Two LL", "One LL" and "Status Unknown" for each report and made an Excel spreadsheet.

Here is some screenshot of the data, first the rising number of Factored, Two LL, One LL and the falling number of Status Unknown:

GIMPS progress.jpg

Next I for each date I took the difference between the value from the next report minus value from the previous report divided by days between those two. So this is the slope of the secant between previous and next report at each date, as a measure of the rate of change per day of each column.
For the last 2 dates I only took average speed from last to current report, because my last 2 data points is 2years and 3months apart from July 20th 2008 to Oct 20th 2010, so last data point is the average speed since v5 server came online:

GIMPS speed per day.jpg

"First time LLs per day" is approximately the rate of change of "One LL" plus rate of change of Double Checks.

Here is the Excel spreadsheet in Excel 2007 and 2003 format: GIMPS.zip
