Finally S60 revealed another prime. So S60 is now down to 27 k's remaining and testing around n=78K. The prime is as follows:
10405*60^77541+1 (137885 digits) or in top10 form: 10405 (77541) Another sidenote is that this prime is the largest I have ever found ![]() Regards KEP |

Reserving S49 (5 k's) from 40K to 100K. (this was a recommended base)
The sieve depth is already just right for my machine. Beginning testing right now. Rough time estimate is 3 weeks (end of November). At n=100k, the primes would be just barely off the top 5000 list. Last fiddled with by Mini-Geek on 2010-11-05 at 13:35 |

2694*49^60523+1 (102300 digits) is prime!
1134*49^66183+1 (111866 digits) is prime! Complete to n=75K, 2 k's remaining. As I originally expected a little over 1 prime, I've been very lucky. Estimated completion time is now about 16 hours (my original included all 5 k's the whole way and forgot to account for my 4 cores).
