Yes whatever. The upshot is that LLs are slowly eking out a lead over 2xDC.

When v5 was originally launched, George was on holiday and the v4 information could not be transferred immediately to v5. So v5 was populated with 23M for DCs and 46M for LLs, somewhat ahead of what was being handed out by v4 before it died.

Also, as I understand it, the main LLs haven't yet got into the range of the "encouraged" P-1 results. That could speed them up again a bit.

Main LLs will likely zip through the completed P-1s as the firepower on P-1 is a minute fraction of what is required.

Next FFT size will keep things fairly stable.

Well for a brief moment I thought, "I'll just allocate my entire farm (a modest 23 cores) to DC and help it catch up. After a brief excercise in division I determined that if I did so I could complete the entire 22 Million range of DC in only about 30 years.

That beind said I am still in the process of allocating about 7 PIV's and smaller Duos to DC...to try to do my part.

Here are status pages going back to March, 2000. http://www.sendspace.com/file/9kdpnh

Did anyone archive even earlier versions?

I had screenshots from Nov 3rd 2004 (or Oct 3rd 2004 if thats better) and Oct 23rd 2003 and even one from Oct 29th 1999 that someone posted years later. I didn't join GIMPs until 2003.

In the "LMH >100M" thread there's a thread for the MasterPrime 2006 program including statuses for GIMPS from April 10, 1997 to Nov 09, 2006 as html (ZIP packed about 530kB).

It seems all the links in that thread are down but I got a local copy and also the "MasterPrime2006.xls" (~6,6MB unpacked) with many data about projects like GIMPS, LMH, 100MDPP and BillionDigits.

All is packed and avaliable here (1.62MB).

That zip or attachment seems to be broken.

[edit]Maybe it is my machine. It says that the file is not found. I can see them listed in the zip though.
