It's been 15 days, and you're something like (16000/18469)^4.86 = 49.7...% done. So no sooner than October 7, depending on what your + hides.

That's backwards, 49.7% is the amount of work still left to do.

(16295/18469)^4.86 = 0.544

So 54.4% left to do, and the first 45.6% has taken 381 hours. Barring any downtime that means it'll be done in about another 454.5 hours, which puts the finishing time late on the 11th October.

Indeed, though I met a physics student today that still puts stock in horoscopes.

I don't understand.

Anyway, about to descend through 14000 bits, 26% left to do.

Joke based on perceived incongruity of the description. The "three" would be belief in horoscopes, physics major, and student status.

BTW , to prove this size takes 8 days with my methode. Let me know, if you have trouble. At this time, you have 28% left of Phase 1 ( in 8 days is it done ), Phase 2 takes 20% of Phase 1 ( 5 days more )...Certificate is done on 12th October
