I'm just curious: Are there any current women members in the forum? Secondly, how many have there ever been in the forum?
I would be impressed with by any woman who could tolerate us for an extended period of time.

It's pretty hard to tell sometimes. Like when they just use their initials.

A quick search brings up this thread:

What do you mean with 'us'? I don't think women have to tolerate 'us' (I can't speak about your manners of course) - I hope you're not thinking about discrimating (Mersenne) guys in general.

Oddball, to the best of my knowledge NPLB has had no female crunchers but there are a couple of IDs in our recent rally that I'm not familiar with that do not make it very clear. I had not seen the previous forum link about women on GIMPS. It's nice to know that there are a few around, even if they aren't particularly active on Mersenneforum. How do you know that, some of us don't try to project a male image on this site, while being biologically female. Men frequently do the same on-line. If I were Danica McKeller, I would assume an identity while visiting this forum.
