), it would probably be moved to Miscellaneous Math Threads within hours. If we're going to move it out of this forum, I'd suggest putting it there.

Max, Karsten, and Ian both make good points so I'll come in the middle of them:
If we can keep in the "non-crankish" tone by maintaining a discussion of the timing of various tests of different bases with different hardware/software, then this is a good thread for the project as Max alluded to. If it degrades much more into "crank-like" mode, then it should probably be moved or locked as Ian alluded to. Admittedly, I hadn't had time to read some of the more useful stuff here. Deleting it would be way too extreme and locking it would probably be somewhat so. For now, we'll keep it here but... Tumo, you're coming across as somewhat "crankish". There is a thread in this forum that discusses level of "crankness" about postings. Very high in the "crank points" is discussing "secret" ideas whose source cannot be fully revelead and whose mathematical theories cannot be possibly proven due to the limited amount of info. revealed. Let's please refrain from the secretive discussion about these K-values that you're talking about. If you can't give the full info. to our satisfaction, then there is no point in posting it here. We don't need to hear it until the information is ready for full public release. Any further postings of "secret ideas" in this thread are subject to being deleted. Thank you.
